Isaiah 61:1 ministry is all about 4 things that Jesus did. 

1. Preaching the gospel of the kingdom 
2. Healing the broken hearted 
3. Proclaiming a message that there is freedom through the work of the cross for those that are captive
4. To set free those that are imprisoned

Training 

One of the central priorities I have been intentionally focusing on over the past several years, regardless of whether I am ministering in Canada, the United States, Tanzania, or elsewhere, is the mobilization of believers to actively preach and share the gospel. I strongly believe that the responsibility of spreading the good news is not limited to pastors or church leaders alone, but is a calling given to every believer. Wherever God places us—whether in our communities, workplaces, schools, or nations—we are meant to be living witnesses of Christ through both our words and our actions.

However, I have also come to understand that effective mobilization does not happen automatically. It requires deliberate training, sound teaching, and consistent encouragement to equip believers with the confidence and clarity they need to share their faith. Many people desire to serve but feel uncertain, unprepared, or fearful when it comes to evangelism. Through proper instruction, practical tools, and spiritual empowerment, believers can overcome these barriers and grow bold in proclaiming the gospel. When the church is equipped and confident. it becomes a powerful force for transformation, carrying the message of Christ beyond church walls and into the world.

An example of training is in the area of the Great Commission. A few decades ago Missionary Russell Murray identified a problem that most believers were not involved with the Great Commission. At that time he developed training to bring both clarity and confidence for believers for to be engaged in the Great Commission. To understand clearly 1) discipleship 2) Evangelism 3) The Law 4) The Gospel Seed 

Missionary Russell Murray has done this training in Zambia, Tanzania, India, Nepal, Canada and the USA.
