Our Ministry

World Harvest Ministry is an apostolic mission to the nations, formally registered in 2012 as the fruit of decades of global evangelism led by Russell Murray. With a presence in Canada and a deep-rooted commitment to East Africa since 1991, our ministry focus remains fixed on the Great Commission: Go and make disciples.

We believe in a holistic approach to the Gospel, addressing both the spiritual and physical needs of the communities we serve through four core pillars:

1. World Harvest International Bible College (WHIBC): Opened in January 2023 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, WHIBC provides a two-year diploma program designed to equip pastors and leaders from across Africa including students from Zambia, Congo, Burundi, Kenya, Uganda, and Malawi.
2. Church Planting. We have successfully planted and built approximately 50 churches to date. Our team actively identifies unreached areas, buys plots of land, and oversees the construction of permanent houses of worship that serve as lighthouses for their communities.
3. Children of Mercy Program: This compassion driven ministry focuses on the restoration of vulnerable children, orphans, and street kids. We provide direct care, education, and long-term support for those in need, ensuring they are raised with the love and hope of Christ.
4. Clean Water Initiatives: To alleviate the physical hardships of remote villages, we drill water wells alongside our church properties. These "Wells of Salvation" provide life-saving clean water and open doors for the Gospel in communities that have struggled without it for generations.

Through the mobilization of believers and the generous support of our global partners, World Harvest Ministry continues to expand its reach, training laborers to harvest souls for the Kingdom of God.
